What an idiot. How could you be so STUPID! Having a job that people would literally kill to have, and he just throws it away. I'm glad the nba has such strict drug laws like this though.
Hahahahaha, I found this to be particuarly awesome. There wasn't even a warning, or a second thought. As soon as he breaks the rules, he's gone in a flash.
It's just "sorry, you're an idiot. Goodbye"
and that's it.
Awesome.... just plain awesome.

You know, he didn't get kicked out for Marijuana or anything.
The NBA will kick you our for 2 years if you test positive for Cocain, Heroin, PCP, Meth or LSD. It's not like he was out smoking a joint or anything... that's pretty serious stuff.
By the way, Artest was suspended a full year without pay, and Stephen Jackson got 30 games. However most of that was the fan's fault, in my opinion... a pitiful showing of respect and knowing your role at the games. If you run on the floor, you're going to get decked if you try to @#%$ a player off. If you punch someone's teammate instead of trying to merely restrain them (two fans were decking Artest when he was in the stands), you're going to get punched back.
I still think both punishments were well handled.
I guess Andersen should stop ignoring all that stuff in his contract that says "if you use Heroin, Cocain, PCP, Meth or LSD, you are kicked out of the league for 2 years". I guess what I'm trying to say is maybe he should read and stop being an idiot.
