I'm following the Jazz-Wolves game via the internet, and It looks like we're playing well. anyway, now that boozer is BACK (sort of) I began to wonder again why we drafted humphries, and if we signed boozer and okur after then why didnt we trade him while his stock was at its highest? I mean humphries will never get time to develope with boozer back. Whose he going to play over? The only person I might say is Jarron, but he's much more valuable on defense.
I think the Jazz front office dropped the ball on this one...
We drafted Hump before Booz and Okur. When we drafted Hump, we did not have even ONE PF on team. But even after getting Booz and Okur, why wouldn't you keep Hump? You need a backup PF, and there was no reason to think he couldn't be at least that.
I'm not doubting Hump can turn into a suitable back up. But at the 14, I'd like to think we were drafting potential starters...and there were a handful of them still on the board at the time.
I'd be interested to see how he would do at the 3. His shot isn't nearly where it needs to be, and I'm not too sure how good of a perimeter defender he can be.
Kris is quick, and goes up strong for the boards. Harder than most players on the Jazz. He could use a stint with the Shot Doctor and learn a little patience. Look at guys like Jermaine O'Neal.... he wasn't worth much early on due to circumstance or whatever, but come on look at the man now. I bet Portland wishes they had him rather than Randolph. Either way, I say let Kris start to develop. He is young, and has a great athletic body and just needs to mature mentally as well as skills wise. he can be a savage though at some point I would venture to say! I mean look at how Snyder has been playing of late! Sure wish we could have had him at the 2 right now!

Do you mean Starter like Snyder who was drafted after Hump and had 28 points the other night. Who's to say Hump wouldn't do the same thing on another team?
thought the same thing Jones, Snyder for all his attitude can and could still play. I think with how the Jazz have been trying to push the break more it would have been better suited for Snyderman. And we could have used him at the 2 no doubt.
