First the bad:
He is the ultimate tweener. He has point guard size (or smaller) with very little point guard skills. What position? Defense?
All that being said, second rounders are always a gamble. He is definitely worth the risk if he is still around in the mid second round. He's a flat out scorer than can shoot from almost anywhere. He takes over games by himself. He is a better than average passer.
Most of all, look at what he and Deron accomplished together. Dee could be a nice player off the bench to provide instant offense and hustle. He could pair up with Deron easily and interchange 1 or 2 positions. Imagine having 2 playmakers.
Best case scenario: Mo Williams
Realistic scenario: Salim Stoudamire
We do have Chicago's second rounder this year. Might be high enough.
